Terminal X
Wind 220°@3, Pad Foxtrot, cleared to land
· Active developmentWhat's all this about?
I have been working on this game since July 2025. It's all about managing resources and ship requests, upgrading the ports infrastructure and communicating with your ground crew. I'm hoping to release a teaser in Q1 of 2026 and a first demo a little later (Probably Q2).

Planned release date!
Devlog!
July 2025
Project start! I set up a new folder on my computer, and set myself some goals. I'm on a two-week trip so I'll actually have time to code for once 🤣
The Moodboard has been created:
I've also created the first request/pad system as well as ship movements
Here you go, some early insights into the very start of the project:
September 2025
After a short break, I've once again continued the development of Terminal X
I added a system to fetch real-time weather data from the OpenMeteo API.
I have overhauled the ship movement and textures, as well as some UI elements.
I implemented a simple locale function to support multiple languages later on.
A new settings system was created, allowing me to swiftly add, remove or modify new settings.
December 2025
It's coming aling quite nicely! I've been busy cooking up some weather effects as well as the first sound effects.
I've decided to limit myself to the Endesga32-Pallete, because it looks great.
I've also redone the ship textures once again.
But what should I do with the resources stuck in the warehouse? Oh I know, you just don't :)
I also fixed some time related things and added UTC mode.
January 2026
I've fixed some bugs, but I've mainly been working on getting this website up and running.
I'm also working on some visual stuff and a main menu so I can release a first demo! Subscribe to me on YouTube to get a notification once it's out!
I have now added clouds, more sky colors and better fog effects.
I've also added a shop where you can buy diverse items, for example a fuel truck to refuel your vehicles. Because you unlock the fuel truck only at level 4, I added some simple fuel barrels to the shop, that can supply fuel for about two ships. Then they run out and you have to buy new ones.
February 2026
I overhauled the weather system again (Hopefully for the last time though).
The first ship sound effects have been added to the VCX-100 auxiliary shuttle. There are landing, shutdown, startup and takeoff engine noises which pan with the position of the vessel.
I also exported the first web demo of the game to try if it even works, and guess what: It did. I uploaded Terminal X 0.3c somewhere on this server, good luck finding it. (It's not that hard...)
I also started work on the new landspeeder feature. It will be the last planned addition before the first "official" demo release (Hopefully in March).
Late February 2026
I've finally finished implementing the lanspeeders. I had to add a new tile, overhaul the shop and level system, as well as the storage system. I added grabable crates to the game that collide with each other and everything (just rigidbodies).
The advancement system also had to be tweaked around a little bit.
After a little procrastination, I've finally added a way to see what the ships actually want after accepting their request. The pad selector on the bottom left now shows a small icon indicating the ships intentions.
It also snowed over here and the game understood and rendered snowflakes!
